About Me:
My name is Jessica Isla. I went to college at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Education (2004) and a Master of Arts Degree in Education, as well as my CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (2005). In 2012, I enrolled in Grad School (once again) at Full Sail University and received a Master of Science Degree in Education Media Design & Technology. I graduated in August 2012 as the Salutatorian of my graduating class. I grew up in Marin County and moved to Santa Cruz for college and lived there for about 8 years. Then, I moved to San Jose in 2009 and moved, again in 2012, to Morgan Hill.
I am a 1st grade teacher in San Jose, CA, and am very passionate about my career. I started teaching in 2005, but have worked with children since I was in high school. I worked very hard to earn my BA (US History & Education minor) and MA (Education & CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential) degrees and MS Degree Education Media Design & Technology Program.
